Frequently Asked Questions
- Does Blastra support BetaList?
- No. BetaList is a launch platform rather than a directory. Blastra focuses on permanent directory listings that drive ongoing buyer discovery and AI search visibility, not launch-day buzz that fades after the first week. If you want launch-day momentum on BetaList, you'll need to coordinate that submission yourself.
- Is BetaList free to list on?
- Free listings are available on BetaList, with optional paid upgrades on top. The upgrades exist to flesh out a more robust profile, which helps with LLM visibility and matters most when BetaList is one of the directories you want to prioritize for review collection. Most companies start free and only revisit upgrades once they see results from being there.
- Are reviews required on BetaList?
- No — you don't need reviews to get listed on BetaList. The platform supports reviews and they're worth collecting based on what's happening in your category, but they're not a prerequisite for the listing itself. Most companies submit first and then build a review strategy as the listing matures.
- Can I list a pre-launch product on BetaList?
- Yes. BetaList accepts pre-launch products as long as you have a working website, including beta and waitlist stages. The reviewers want to see that the product exists and the website explains what it does, but they don't require general availability or paying customers to approve the listing.
- Can I list my software on BetaList?
- Yes — BetaList accepts product listings, including SaaS, software, AI tools, and hardware. Service businesses, agencies, and consultancies won't be approved or won't fit the audience even if they get through. If you sell services, look at directories with explicit Services focus instead, like Clutch or GoodFirms.
- Is BetaList for B2B, B2C, or B2E products?
- BetaList accepts all three buyer profiles: B2B (sold to other businesses), B2E (internal or employee-facing tools), and B2C (sold to consumers). That's a broad audience, which is unusual — most directories specialize in one or two. The trade-off is that listings on BetaList need to be specific enough to resonate with whichever buyer is reading; broad positioning won't work as well here.
