Frequently Asked Questions
- Does Blastra support BetaList?
- Soon. Blastra is currently testing submissions to BetaList — we're trialing it on a limited basis to confirm it delivers for customers before adding it to the standard service. Once testing wraps up, we'll handle submissions to BetaList the same way as currently supported directories: account setup, listing copy, and approval follow-up, with no extra work on your side.
- Is BetaList free to list on?
- No — BetaList doesn't offer free listings; a paid plan is required to be on the platform at all. The pricing tiers are set by BetaList and vary by what features you need; you'll need to contact them directly for a quote. Factor that into the decision before submitting.
- Are reviews required on BetaList?
- No — you don't need reviews to get listed on BetaList. The platform supports reviews and they're worth collecting based on what's happening in your category, but they're not a prerequisite for the listing itself. Most companies submit first and then build a review strategy as the listing matures.
- Can I list a pre-launch product on BetaList?
- Yes. BetaList accepts pre-launch products as long as you have a working website, including beta and waitlist stages. The reviewers want to see that the product exists and the website explains what it does, but they don't require general availability or paying customers to approve the listing.
- Can I list my software on BetaList?
- Yes — BetaList accepts product listings, including SaaS, software, AI tools, and hardware. Service businesses, agencies, and consultancies won't be approved or won't fit the audience even if they get through. If you sell services, look at directories with explicit Services focus instead, like Clutch or GoodFirms.
- Is BetaList for B2B, B2C, or B2E products?
- BetaList accepts all three buyer profiles: B2B (sold to other businesses), B2E (sold to enterprises), and B2C (sold to consumers). That's a broad audience, which is unusual — most directories specialize in one or two. The trade-off is that listings on BetaList need to be specific enough to resonate with whichever buyer is reading; broad positioning won't work as well here.
