How this is decided →

Position is the category's default choice across the multiple sources we read: how well each product is rated, and how many buyers have reviewed it. It is an aggregate, so it matches no single platform's ranking. Products that exist and collect reviews for longer sit higher, so a good newer product can be low, which is not always a reflection of its quality.

Profound

Observed October 7, 2026

Built for large teams that want agents and deep tracking, with no published price, a cost smaller teams find out of reach and a learning curve to climb.

More about Profound AI visibility

BroadPushbackNo paid plan has a published price. The pricing page offers a short trial limited to a few engines, with no exports or API, and a custom enterprise plan. Reviewers who raise cost say the full product is out of reach for smaller teams.

LearnableMixedThe vendor runs its own training program and assigns dedicated help at the top plan, and some reviewers praise the training and support. A slightly larger group describes a steep start, overwhelming data and too little guidance inside the product.

AI-readyConfirmedAgents, an API and MCP connections are all on offer, and the few reviewers who discuss them confirm they work. Nobody finds the AI tooling missing or hollow.

ScalableMixedReviewers confirm day-to-day use at large and mid-sized companies, and the enterprise plan carries single sign-on, a security attestation and unlimited seats. A minority push back, citing cost and complexity for smaller businesses and plan-upgrade bugs that disturbed tracking.

TunableMixedMost reviewers who discuss connections say Slack, Google Analytics, MCP and the API fit their workflow, while a minority miss a Webflow connection.

ReliableConfirmedNobody reports an outage, and most reviewers who raise it report no problems and speak well of support. A single isolated reviewer reports duplicated tracking, a frozen account and slow support.

AffordablePushbackCost is the recurring complaint. Reviewers who mention price acknowledge the depth they get and still call it high, especially for anyone outside a large company. None calls it cheap.

Peec AI

Observed October 7, 2026

A tracker marketing teams pick up quickly and wire into their own stack, with model choice capped on the lower plans.

More about Peec AI AI visibility

BroadMixedLower plans track a few chosen models with unlimited users, and the full roster of models is held for the enterprise plan. Reviewers who mention price like the value at the entry level, and a sizable minority name gaps: the model limit, missing page audits and no prompt volume research.

LearnableConfirmedMost users find the interface clear from the first session and get set up quickly. A small minority struggle early, from overlapping suggested prompts to reading the first results.

AI-readyConfirmedThe vendor offers an API and a Looker Studio connector, and the few reviewers who weigh in also value an MCP connection. A wish for a deeper ChatGPT connection is the only gap raised.

ScalableConfirmedThe enterprise plan removes limits on projects and models. Most reviewers who touch on it praise the flexible pricing and project setup, and a lone dissenter finds the model limit by plan restrictive.

TunableMixedFew reviewers discuss it, and they do not all agree. Most name the MCP connection, the API and the Looker connector as working well inside their own stack, while a lone dissenter is held back by the model limits on each plan.

ReliableConfirmedNobody reports an outage or lost data, and users speak well of the team, who answer them directly.

AffordableMixedReviewers who weigh in mostly call the price a reason they chose it, and a single reviewer wishes it cost less.

Otterly.AI

Observed October 7, 2026

An easy way into the category with an intuitive interface, held back by shallow customization and a jump between tiers that many find steep.

More about Otterly.AI AI visibility

BroadMixedThe entry plan covers daily tracking across several engines with unlimited team members. A sizable minority says it runs out of room for real workloads and forces a jump to the next tier.

LearnableConfirmedNearly everyone describes an intuitive interface and an easy setup, and the vendor includes an onboarding session on every paid plan. A few critics want better documentation and help building prompts.

AI-readyConfirmedAPI and MCP access start at the second plan, and the reviewers who mention the AI tooling do so approvingly. The AI features are never described as absent.

ScalableMixedPlans climb to a custom enterprise tier, and most reviewers who discuss it praise the value and renew without trouble. A sizable minority find the entry plan too thin for a growing workload or the customization too limited for enterprise monitoring.

TunablePushbackMost reviewers who discuss it push back, wanting deeper filtering, more customizable reporting, reports that move into other dashboards and wider platform integrations. A minority find it fits their workflow and like the Claude skill.

ReliableConfirmedMost reviewers who weigh in describe a fast platform with good support, and no outage is reported. A lone reviewer finds data updates slow when tracking many domains.

AffordableMixedOnly a handful of reviewers weigh in, and they are divided. A couple call the price good value, while the rest flag the jump between tiers, the cost for small businesses or thin value at the price.

A platform that pairs tracking with content recommendations and openly published pricing, though reviewers split on how easy it is to learn.

More about AthenaHQ AI visibility

Where an aspect reads No signal, that is a statement about our evidence rather than about the product.

BroadConfirmedThe paid plan delivers the multi-model tracking and content actions it advertises, and the users who comment on scope found no surprises. The most advanced features sit on the enterprise plan.

LearnableMixedThe vendor offers white-glove setup at the top plan. Reviewers are divided: a slight majority find setup quick and the design intuitive, while the rest call the interface overwhelming at first or want starter templates for prompts and workflows.

AI-readyConfirmedAthenaHQ documents API keys, an MCP connection for Claude and other clients, and a Looker Studio connector. On the Starter plan, API access is available as a paid add-on. Reviewers do not discuss them yet.

ScalableConfirmedNo reviewer reports hitting a limit, and some describe scoping their tracking before rolling it out broadly. The top plan adds single sign-on, audit logs and multi-region support.

Goodie AI

Observed October 7, 2026

A platform sold as a full stack, with strong agentic features, some features still rolling out, an interface that takes some learning and a price that divides opinion.

More about Goodie AI AI visibility

Where an aspect reads No signal, that is a statement about our evidence rather than about the product.

BroadMixedThe entry plan is sold as a full platform, with agents, citation analysis and revenue attribution included, and most users agree. A meaningful group notes that some features are still rolling out or in beta, and that rivals offer more.

LearnableMixedA short onboarding call comes with the paid plans, plus a dedicated strategist on the enterprise plan. A slight majority find the dashboards intuitive or credit the onboarding, while a sizable minority find the interface a lot to manage and struggle to follow new features.

AI-readyConfirmedAn MCP server comes with the entry plan, and the vendor offers agents for content, outreach and technical fixes. The few reviewers who weigh in call the agentic features strong and capable, and none finds the AI features missing or thin.

ScalableConfirmedNo reviewer reports hitting a limit. Higher plans add unlimited seats and dedicated strategist support.

TunableNo signalToo few reviewer mentions across the platforms we read.

Observed October 7, 2026

A broad tracking and recommendations tool with a detailed plan ladder, whose few reviewers lean toward finding the interface simple, while some find it technical or unclear.

More about Rankscale AI visibility

Where an aspect reads No signal, that is a statement about our evidence rather than about the product.

BroadConfirmedReviewers who comment on scope found the tracking, benchmarking and content recommendations they expected, and no features are reported locked behind a higher tier.

LearnableMixedOnly a handful of reviewers weigh in, and a slim majority of them describe a simple, intuitive interface, while the rest find some screens unclear without an overview of what the data shows, and call it technical.

AI-readyConfirmedRankscale runs an MCP server that connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants to its data, and documents a REST API that is included on its higher plans. A lone reviewer values its checks of how ready a brand's pages are for AI search.

Scrunch AI

Observed October 7, 2026

An easy-to-adopt platform whose model coverage, connections and contract terms draw more argument than its interface does.

More about Scrunch AI AI visibility

BroadMixedThe core plan covers a limited set of AI engines, with the rest reserved for enterprise. The vendor says so on its pricing page. Most reviewers find the scope they expected, though a minority felt the gating was not made clear until later or saw extra fees for more models.

LearnableConfirmedMost users find the interface intuitive and the onboarding strong, and describe getting going quickly. The lone dissent is that a baseline of data takes weeks to build.

AI-readyMixedMost reviewers who discuss it confirm the API and raw data export work well. A sizable minority push back, wanting an MCP connection and finding models held back by plan.

ScalableConfirmedMost reviewers describe scaling up and down as easy, including agencies that onboarded all their clients in a few hours. A lone reviewer found models locked behind higher tiers without being told upfront.

TunableMixedReviewers are split on connections. Some praise the Google Analytics and API connections and the raw data export that suits agencies building their own reporting, while others report bugs with Google Analytics and a clumsy CMS connection.

ReliableMixedNo outage or data loss is reported, and most reviewers praise support. A reviewer reports that the Google Analytics connection keeps disconnecting and has to be re-enabled.

Changing the sources AI answers cite

The products above track how AI answers describe a brand, and most help improve what the brand says on its own site. AI answers about software also draw on third-party sources the brand does not run: software directories, review platforms and publishers. Two products do that off-site work, each on its own surface. They sit outside the board, which is built from reviews.

About AI visibility software

AI visibility software tracks how often and how favorably a brand is mentioned and cited in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI results. The category splits between low-cost trackers for small teams and agencies (Otterly.AI, Rankscale, Peec AI), platforms that add content recommendations and agents (AthenaHQ, Goodie AI, Scrunch AI), and an enterprise suite built for large brands (Profound). The seven products tracked here are curated by Blastra to span that range, and the category is young, so most have reviews on only a few platforms.

Directories are still deciding where this category lives. TrustRadius files some of these products under 'AI Visibility Software and GEO' and others under 'SEO,' and the AI features that large SEO suites now bundle are covered on the SEO software page instead. This page treats the named products as one category of dedicated trackers, because buyers comparing them consider all seven regardless of how each platform files them.

Position from rating and review volume across the web; aspect bands from reviewers set against each vendor's own claims.

Methodology

How are the products selected for the AI visibility Observatory?+

Blastra editorially selects roughly ten products per category that hold leadership positions across at least three of the review sources this reading covers. The set is updated when notable changes are observed, so products may enter or leave between observations. The category itself is also Blastra's editorial choice; it does not match a single directory's category exactly.

Why are these categories different from the ones on G2, Capterra, and other directories?+

Blastra's categories are higher-level than directory taxonomies. Where a directory splits the same product into multiple sub-categories (for example, G2's "CRM," "Sales Force Automation," and "CRM All-in-One"), we consider the product's full presence on the directory rather than the slice attributed to one sub-category.

What does the summary line under each product mean?+

It names every claim the product delivers on, phrased as what that means for a buyer rather than as the aspect's name. Confirmed means reviewers bear the claim out consistently, not merely that some were warm about it: a claim borne out by some and contradicted by others in roughly equal measure reads Mixed and does not appear in the line. Nothing is left out for length, so a product that delivers on five lists five.

Why is Reliable read differently, and why does it cover support?+

Because nobody writes a review to say the software stayed up. Buyers enthuse about features and damn a support team, but almost no one posts about an uneventful year. Scoring it on the balance of praise against complaint would measure how loudly a category talks about uptime rather than whether anything can be depended on. So it is read from the vendor's own status page, a dated artifact they publish and we did not write, set against whether buyers reach for outages or data loss. Where a status page could not be read that is our limitation and is said as such; where a vendor publishes none at all, that is a fact about the vendor and is said as that instead. Reliable also covers whether help arrives, because a product you cannot depend on when nobody answers is not dependable whatever its uptime says.

Why is there no score?+

Because a number would be the least defensible thing on the page. A composite like "78 out of 100" invites an argument it cannot win (why 78 and not 81) about weights that are ultimately our editorial judgement, and it flattens seven different things a buyer cares about into one figure that hides all of them. What we will defend is the ordering (this product stands ahead of that one with reviewers) and the seven aspect bands, which say where each product delivers what it claims, where buyers report otherwise, and where we have not read enough to say. Blastra does rank internally in order to sort the list; that working number is not published, here or in the machine-readable dataset.

How current is this reading?+

Positions and aspect bands reflect reviewer standing as of the observation date shown. Movement reflects differences between observation dates, expressed in rank positions. It is not updated daily; for each product, the linked listings are the live source of record.

How is the ranking determined?+

Blastra synthesizes a position from how well each product is rated and how many buyers have reviewed it, across every source the reading covers, weighting each source by how much its reviews are worth as signal. It counts absence only where presence is genuinely expected. Only review-driven signals are used, never page traffic or search demand. The seven aspect bands are a separate reading, of what reviewers wrote set against what the vendor claims. The result is a position, not a score.

How is the list sorted?+

By reviewer standing as synthesized by Blastra, strongest first. There is no sort by review volume, and no way to buy a position: the measured list cannot be purchased at any price.

Where do the "Praised" and "Criticized" lines come from?+

They are Blastra's short, hedged paraphrase of the prevailing sentiment about each product across the sources this reading covers. They are not direct quotes and not a reproduction of any directory's review text. They report what reviewers raise most, and are not a statement of fact about the product itself.

What does the Blastra Observatory NOT include?+

Platform-issued badges and awards are not reflected here; Blastra's guide to software awards and badges covers what those mean. Positions reflect organic reviewer standing, which vendors can't pay to change. Some platforms separately sell advertising or sponsored listings; those don't affect the ranking. Vendor influence is not a factor either: a vendor that is a Blastra customer appears identically to one that is not, given the same reviewer standing.

What are the challenger entries beneath some products?+

They are of two kinds, and neither is part of the ranking. Some are paid launch slots: a newer product pays once to launch beneath an established product it believes it beats for one narrow use case, and states that case in its own words. The rest are Blastra's own reading of a newer product's public positioning - those vendors have not paid and did not write them. Every entry says which it is. None can pay for a position and none of it moves a measured product. Blastra has not assessed any of them: there is not enough reviewer signal behind a new product to profile it on the seven aspects, so we don't, rather than implying a reading we never made. A product that accumulates enough reviewer signal becomes eligible for the measured list at a later observation, and a measured product never pays to be there.

What are the best alternatives to Profound?+

Among the AI visibility products tracked in this Observatory, common alternatives to Profound include AthenaHQ, Peec AI, and Scrunch AI. These are the products buyers most frequently consider in the same shortlists. Each one has its own row on the board above, profiled on the same seven aspects, so they can be read against each other directly.

How does Profound compare to Peec AI?+

Both Profound and Peec AI appear in this Observatory and are commonly evaluated together. As of October 7, 2026, Profound ranks first and Peec AI second on reviewer standing. Profound delivers on its claims for ai-ready and reliable; Peec AI on learnable, ai-ready, scalable and reliable. Both are profiled on the same seven aspects on the board above.

Which AI visibility product ranks first?+

As of October 7, 2026, Profound holds the strongest reviewer standing in this Observatory, synthesized across the review sources where it is listed. Blastra publishes the position rather than a score. See "Why is there no score?" above.

Are any of these products Blastra customers, and does that affect their ranking?+

Some products on this page are Blastra customers and some are not. A product's position is set only by its standing with reviewers on the independent platforms read here; a relationship with Blastra carries no weight in it. Blastra can help customers execute on those platforms (submitting listings, keeping profiles current, responding to reviewers), but it has no way to change the ratings themselves, which represent the opinions of each directory's reviewers. Reviewer verification is handled by each directory, not by Blastra. Blastra does not review its own customers and does not engage in inauthentic review gathering.

How do I request a correction or removal?+

Email ceo@blastra.io with the product name and the specific data point you want reviewed. We will look into it and respond within a reasonable window.

Disclosure: some products on this page are Blastra customers and some are not. A product's position is set only by its standing with reviewers on the sources we read. Blastra does not engage in inauthentic review gathering. Corrections: ceo@blastra.io.
