About FoundrList
A founder-friendly platform with a small traffic but descent engagement. It positions itself more as a community than a directory. Free launch requires placing a backlink on your website and a waiting time is ~1 month. Not too bad compared to the other launch platforms that put you on a several months-long waiting list.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does Blastra support FoundrList?
- Soon. Blastra is currently testing submissions to FoundrList — we're trialing it on a limited basis to confirm it delivers for customers before adding it to the standard service. Once testing wraps up, we'll handle submissions to FoundrList the same way as currently supported directories: account setup, listing copy, and approval follow-up, with no extra work on your side.
- Is FoundrList free to list on?
- No — FoundrList doesn't offer free listings; a paid plan is required to be on the platform at all. The pricing tiers are set by FoundrList and vary by what features you need; you'll need to contact them directly for a quote. Factor that into the decision before submitting.
- Are reviews part of how FoundrList works?
- No, reviews aren't a meaningful part of FoundrList. The platform's value isn't built on review volume, so a review collection campaign isn't required to benefit from a listing here. If you have a review strategy already, focus that energy on directories where reviews actually drive ranking or visibility.
- Can I list a pre-launch product on FoundrList?
- Yes. FoundrList accepts pre-launch products as long as you have a working website, including beta and waitlist stages. The reviewers want to see that the product exists and the website explains what it does, but they don't require general availability or paying customers to approve the listing.
- How long does it take to get listed on FoundrList?
- It depends on FoundrList's queue and how complete the submission is, but in our experience most listings on FoundrList get approved within >14 days. If your submission is missing fields or the website needs translation work, expect the longer end of that range or some back-and-forth before approval.
- What does FoundrList accept — products, services, or companies?
- FoundrList accepts Products and Company listings. Pick the listing type that aligns most closely with how your buyers describe what you sell, then check FoundrList's own submission flow for the right path. If your offering spans multiple types, consult FoundrList directly before deciding how to position it.
